When I was making pen and  ink drawings and illustrations for the Arabian Nights I also experimented with some color drawings and illustrations. I attempted to create the illustration under the influence of the Persian Miniatures that I had seen at the Met. Thought it might be fun to post one of them! Margaret Hurst
