From my Cold windowed space

I am not one for summer. Or at least not the summer that everyone else partakes in. The sun is a beautiful thing but I like it better when we are tilted away from it rather than towards it, bathing in the solar warmth is no where on my to do list. But the one thing I do love is walking beneath the trees, with the rays fighting to shine through the heat blocking leaves. Midday I saw some people strolling along the East River, enjoying the shade. The ground below may not have been cool and soft as I prefer, but I was envious of their position over mine as I passed by.—Dominick
