Every Thursday my son attends a gardening class at the NYBG. It’s been such an incredible experience for him (and for me too 🙂 This past week he had an opportunity to harvest some of the lettuce he planted 5 weeks back. It was the first time he ever became aware that the food he eats actually is grown in the earth. What a novel concept, lol. Happy Memorial Day! – Michele
